#NebraskaLearns
This program is for everyone who designs, facilitates, or manages online learning programs, including eLearning, webinars, virtual classrooms, websites, computer-based job aids, social media, anything that involves technology - which a great deal of learning today does. It’s critical to consider accessibility, disability, and usability in online learning, because without understanding the types of assistive technologies learners may use and how to design with inclusion in mind, you may end up unintentionally excluding your learners from your training program. So in this session, we’re going to learn how to create accessible online learning, and also learn how to evaluate our existing courses for accessibility. Participants will leave with templates and resources to get started on course accessibility right away! Talent Development Capability Model Alignment: Cultural Awareness & Inclusion, Compliance & Ethical Behavior, Learning Sciences, Instructional Design, Training Delivery & Facilitation, Technology Application, Change Management, Future Readiness

Boredom, disengagement, wasted time – sound familiar? Unfortunately, these words have become synonymous with most of our meetings. But it doesn't have to be this way! Imagine a meeting landscape where every participant is engaged, every voice is empowered, and every outcome is enabled. Jeff Shannon, master facilitator and author of "Lead Engaging Meetings", will unveil a transformative approach to meetings that's both compelling and actionable. Session Highlights: 1) Facilitator as the Catalyst: Dive into the essential role and mindset of the facilitator – not as just a leader, but as a guide who genuinely engages, empowers, and enables participants. 2) Foundation First: Extracting the core principles from "Lead Engaging Meetings", you'll grasp universal truths that can be applied to every meeting, regardless of its size, scope, or objective. 3) From Drab to Dynamic: Discover 5 quick, easy-to-implement shifts in your meeting approach that promise profound improvements. These aren't just theories, but practical changes backed by real-world application. 4) Troubleshoot Together: A unique opportunity to voice your meeting-related challenges. Get insights and suggestions tailored to your specific dilemmas. 5) Extra Mile Engagement: Beyond the session, I'll be available for individual queries, concerns, or deeper dives into the world of engaging meetings.
